A knitter since third grade, Cheryl introduced Gerties Infant Knitwear in 2002.  Name after her Grandma Gertie, an Iowa farm wife and mother.  Grandma Gertie was a humble teacher of a modest way of life.  Her love for nature has been an unforgettable influence on Cheryl.  Details in her knitwear and floral design incorporate childhood memories of a small Iowa farm.
